Calculator inputs

The calculator code does not upload dates, retention settings, data sizes or speed values. It does not save these values in cookies or browser storage. The application does not provide accounts, uploads or saved calculation histories.

Your browser may independently restore form values or browsing history. That behavior is controlled by your browser, not by RetentionLab.

Hosting and technical requests

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Visiting it requires network requests for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Cloudflare receives technical connection information, including your IP address, requested URL and browser request headers, to deliver and protect the site. Local calculations do not mean that visiting a website involves no data processing.

Traffic measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure website visits and performance. Its analytics beacon is added by the hosting platform, separately from the calculator code. Calculator field values are not sent to Web Analytics; these statistics are not a record of individual calculations.

Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as not using cookies or local storage to track visitors. See Cloudflare's analytics documentation for its collection practices. This notice does not claim that all hosting activity is anonymous.

Advertising and external links

The current application contains no advertising code or marketing trackers. External links take you to services with their own data practices. Any future advertising or changes to collection need a corresponding review and update of this notice.
